Detailed introduction

As a coin resulting from a fork of CHIA, ALOE retains many traits inherited from the preceding coin, while making substantial improvements.

ALOE removed unlimited plotting and replaced it with a 100 TB farm limit. This was done to ensure whales do not dominate the ALOE network and will also allow smaller farmers to participate.  ALOE will still use a concept similar to proof-of-space and time, but just with a capped space requirement (along with other anti-whale measures).

The proof of space and time white paper by Bram Cohen is nevertheless relevant.  Based on this paper, a proof-of-space and time cryptocurrency was proposed which can be found here: CHIA.  This paper is only mentioned as a loose reference.
